CleanSpark has secured 447 acres NEAR Houston to develop a regional compute hub for AI and high-performance computing workloads. The land deal includes transmission infrastructure enabling 300MW of immediate power capacity, scalable to 600MW—complementing existing assets in Austin County.

The Houston-area expansion positions CleanSpark to leverage ERCOT's robust energy market, with nearly 1GW of potential capacity. Direct connections to high-voltage transmission lines mitigate grid congestion risks while supporting 24/7 operations for power-intensive AI applications.

Strategic power agreements allow modular campus development without infrastructure renegotiation, creating a competitive advantage in meeting surging demand for AI compute infrastructure. The MOVE reflects growing convergence between energy markets and next-generation data center requirements.
